This is the premier collection of fine art prints featuring this design that inspires hope for a beautiful bright world with its vase of colorful flowers set on a desolate landscape.
The designs were originally created as part of a limited edition silk square scarf collection released in 2015 to celebrate the RETROSPECTIVE art exhibition by Juan Antonio Guirado in Madrid. This print design has become a cult classic in European society with Catalina’s work being features in magazines and bogs including ELLE, AD Magazine, Vanity Fair, L’Officiel, Good Housekeeping and Tatler.

The original series are part Maestro Guirado's environmental art commentary on the imminent destruction of the planet by human kind. In this series Guirado paints a classical study of still life with a vase of flowers against an apocalyptic desert landscape in his signature abstract surreal style.
Maestro Juan Antonio Guirado is recognized by art academics as an important overlooked artist of his generation with a unique signature style and visionary works that warn of the destruction of the planet through man's greed - before environmentalism was widely recognized by the art world. He is considered a master of the school of art called IntroRealism and was quoted as saying his paintings need to be viewed with the third eye. His study of the Veda and eastern philosophy is evident in all his works that create kaleidoscopic universes within one canvas.
Catalina choses paintings that she feels reflect both her and her fathers beliefs in the ultimate collaboration between father and daughter bringing his art to a new generation of collectors who value the same ideals and enjoy viewing art with a more open minded attitude.
The new digital platforms in the art world with Virtual reality, projection and NFTs continue to evolve and are the perfect fit for Maestro GUIRADO's original paintings, described by art critics in 1976 as ‘ an artist with an eye in the future’ and ‘The 21st century painter’.
